Toolocity Wet Grinder Adapting Kit will turn any dry grinder into a wet grinder/wet polisher for wet cutting with a diamond saw blade, or turn a dry variable speed grinder into a wet stone polisher with wet diamond polishing pads. It comes with the following parts:
- Protective Guard
- Water Line (10')
- Garden Hose Adapter
- Hook & Loop Strap
- Coolant Tube
- 90 Degree Swivel Fitting
- Plastic Ties
- Plastic Wire Wrap
- Grinder is not included
- Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) is optional
- GFCI will insure safety of both human and equipment when using an electric tool with water, by automatically disconnecting electricity when there is a leak.
You will attach swivel fitting on the protective guard pre-drilled with holes for the attachment. In case the protective guard will not fit on the grinder you use, you will need to drill 4 holes on the protective guard/shroud that comes with your grinder with a #8 drill bit. Instructions on how to drill the holes are included in the user manual for the kit.
Water protection apron is highly recommended!
