Tenax Crystal Mastic

Tenax Knifegrade Crystal Mastic is a glue that is neither an epoxy nor a polyester. It is an acrylic mastic which dries fast like poly, but bonds strong like epoxy with a crystal clear bond. The best of both worlds! Tenax Crystal Mastic is excellent for use with all marbles and granites.

Stone Glue

Tenax Crystal Mastic is an acrylic mastic resin designed for a permanent bond on granite and marble lamination. It is a top quality product, and our stone fabrication shops love it! This product dries crystal clear, hence the name.

Instruction for use:  Remove the required amount of glue from the can and add the necessary hardener as directed. Mix thoroughly 100 gr of mastic with 2-4 gr of hardener at a temperature of 77 degree. The mixture is workable for about 10-15 minutes. Do not return the unused mixture to the can. Surfaces to be treated must be dry and clean, with no grease or dust on them. At 77F after 80-110 minutes it is possible to process the pieces glued with the mastic. Higher working temperature will speed up the process, while lower temperature will slow it down. At temperature lower than 0 C (32 F) the hardening reaction will not occur. Store the product at 20C (70F). Keep away from the sun and heat sources.
