Alpha® is proud to release the second DVD in their series of educational training videos. This video focuses on fabricating and installing granite countertop blanks. Pre-fabricated blanks are more popular than ever due to the ease of handling and the amount of work to make a custom countertop. This video walks the viewer through the various steps to complete three different levels of projects. Start from a small all-in-one vanity top, to a custom double-sink vanity and finally a large custom kitchen countertop and peninsula. For anyone who wants to learn the proper techniques to make a beautiful countertop with ease, this video is for you!

The DVD includes:

Overview: Pre-Fabricated materials and safety basics including handling, transport and tools required;
Project 1 - Vanity Kit - Learn the basics for installing a ready-made vanity top including anchor installation;
Project 2 - Custom Vanity - Learn the techniques for trimming, polising and installing a double-sink vanity top. Topics include cutting, rodding, profiling, polishing, drilling, caulking and sealing;
Project 3 - Large Kitchen - This project teaches the viewer all of the tools to turn a pre-fabricated blank into a custom kitchen countertop. it shows how to template, cut edges and grooves, methods for sink cutouts, and seaming pieces together for long counters. In addition, it shows the proper techniques for polishing, drilling faucet and anchor holes, as well as the finishing touches such as caulking and sealing.
